High shear emulsifier operation process:
Under the centrifugal force generated by the high-speed rotating rotor, the material in the figure is sucked into the working chamber from the upper and lower feeding areas of the working head in the axial direction.
2. The weak centrifugal force throws the material radially into the narrow and fine gap between the stator and rotor. Simultaneously subjected to centrifugal kneading, impact and other effects, the material begins to disperse and emulsify.
3. A linear velocity of at least 15m/s and up to 40m/s occurs at the outer end of the high-speed rotating rotor, resulting in intense mechanical and hydraulic shear, liquid layer conflict, collision and tearing, causing the material to disperse, emulsify, homogenize, crush, and be ejected together through the stator slot. A high shear emulsifier is a device that uses the high-speed rotation of a homogenizer head connected to an engine to shear, disperse, and collide materials. This way, the material will become more delicate and promote the blending of oil and water.
4. The material is continuously ejected radially at high speed, changing its flow direction under the resistance of the material itself and the container wall. Along with this, the upward and downward axial suction forces occurring in the rotor area create two intense turbulent flows of flipping. The material goes through multiple cycles and completes the process of dispersion, emulsification, and homogenization.
